CMI POLICY OF EDUCATION:

We, the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate, after the example of our founder Saint Kuriokose Elias Chavara, consider education as the integral formation of the human person for the fulfillment of his/her individual and social responsibilities.
Our educational endeavors aim at forming leaders who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically healthy and socially acceptable who are ever open to further growth.
The secret behind the success of our educational institutions is a community of teachers who are committed to their vocation and who are professionally competent, culturally sensitive, morally upright, just humane in dealings, and who grow in the true vision of education.

SHORT HISTORY:

Carmel Academy, Waroda has started functioning from 6th July 2009 and blessed by His Grace Abraham Viruthakulangara, Abp. of Nagpur Archdiocese. It was the desire of Rev. Fr. Antony Kuttiyani to start school here at waroda. And the idea was supported and passed by the provincial team of Rev. Fr. Varghese Puthuparampil and Rev. Fr. Prem Thomas Choorackal was appointed by them. He is the founder Manager and Principal of the new school. His hard work and tireless effort gave shape to a new school.  SH Sisters of Raipur province served us from the academic session 0f 2011-13. School got affiliated in the year 2012. The pre-primary building constructions was approved and completed by the new provincial team under Rev. Fr. Johny Edapulavan. DM sisters of wardha province are helping from the 2013- session onwards. Fr. Jose Koikara assisted the school for nearly two years of service Fr. Prem got a transfer to Ballarsha to start social work center there. He left on 11th May and Fr. Joy Parappilly came to take the charge.
Mrs. Rani Amalanathan took charge as the principal on the 2^nd of May 2018 as Fr. Joy got transferred. Fr. Jilson Kuzhuppilly CMI was appointed as the Director and Vice-Principal of the school.
